Kennebec Inn, Bath, Maine
Innkeepers Kenneth and Rachel Parlin invite you to experience comfort and warm hospitality in their Bed and Breakfast, located in Historic Bath, Maine. Built in the early 1850's by Captain James B. Perkins, The Halcyon Days of Bath, Maine. Captain James B. Perkins was a master mariner and held substantial investments in the Eastern Steamboat Company, of which Perkins was the initial director in 1869. The house was then sold in 1865 to Sea Captain Samuel B. Reed, who later was lost at sea in 1869.
The Inn offers a park-like setting with carriage house, picnic area, croquet and inground swimming pool. Among other things, guests enjoy large ensuites, a three-course breakfast served each morning on beautiful Blue Willow China, in-room cable tv, and free wifi throughout the Inn. But the best part about the Kennebec Inn is its park-like setting.
